Question by tess: Who offers the cheapest Social Tariff for Gas & Electricity?
We are coming off our Fixed Price Deal in March and receive Pension Credit.
None of the Comparison Sites we have tried give that information

Working for one of the Big Six energy companies I would advise that you look at prices of these tariffs in March because there is no guarantee that what is available now will be available then.
In the past when my employers have amended the social tariffs in tends to be in the “summer quarters” (ie March – September) and last time the amendments included the eligibility criteria. You might also want to consider what other tariffs are available at the time – you may find that you could save more with an online tariff.
The website in the link below has a list of comparisons for Social Tariffs. Do check the info because Npower considers you as in fuel poverty or low income if the household makes less than £13500 a year but British Gas is looking for less than £15000.
